2017's Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition features whisky distilled back in
2002 and finished in casks that previously held Oloroso Sherry.

Dalwhinnie double matured in Oloroso Sherry casks; the result is a sweetness and depth of character quite different to the standard 15 year old.

Dalwhinnie malt whisky Distillery was established in 1897 at Dalwhinnie in Scotland’s Highland whisky region. Situated at an altitude of just over 320m above sea level this is the second highest working distillery in Scotland. Dalwhinnie Distillery continues to operate with just a single pair of stills and two round wooden worm tubs. Visitors are welcomed at the Dalwhinnie Distillery visitor centre where distillery tours are available.

A sweetness on the lips, moving to well-defined malt cask-wood flavours. Rich, longer finish than usual, honey finish with hints of sweet oak.
