ArteNom Selección de 1414 Reposado stands as a testament to the craft of tequila-making, originating from estate-grown agave in the Jalisco Highlands and meticulously produced at Distileria El Ranchito. This pure tequila, free from additives, boasts an ABV of 40% (80-proof). Tasting notes reveal its unique character: a light color akin to Blanco, an enticing aroma reminiscent of baking banana nut bread, and a palate that offers a citrusy sweetness with a subtle heat and minimal burn. The texture is described as silky, oily, and buttery, delivering an agave-forward natural sweetness complemented by robust pepper, spice, and fruit undertones. Additional flavors of salted vanilla cookie, allspice, and a mild chile heat contribute to its complex profile. Feliciano Vivanco, hailing from Arandas, Mexico, and continuing a legacy since 1919–1929, skillfully crafts ArteNom Selección de 1414 Reposado using estate-grown agave, allowing it to mature for ten months in ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a tequila that harmonizes tradition, craftsmanship, and a rich flavor profile.
