FOUR San Francisco Locations Open 12 - 8 PM DAILY
Notes from Nate: At 10 years and 7 months this is the oldest private barrel Westward has ever sold! It's also one of the most drinkable almost-hazmat whiskies I've had coming in at a robust 69.11% (138.22 Proof).
Appearance: Pours a beautiful dark reddish-brown mahogany with an amazing syrup like viscosity.
Aromas: On the nose notes of butterscotch, nougat, apricot marmalade, eucalyptus, peanut butter on wonder bread, orange flower water, currants and the faintest hint of seaweed and octopus sashimi.
Taste: On the palate notes of roasted hazelnuts, honey, rose water, marzipan, chill covered mango, crème brulee/burnt sugar, honeysuckle, pumpernickel and a touch of garden field (think bell peppers, carrot tops, rosemary and herbs, etc.).
Finish: The finish is long and lingering with notes of rock candy, dried blood orange, snickerdoodle, citrus and cinnamon gum.
