The Port Ellen distillery was located in Port Ellen on the isle of Islay, Scotland. It initially operated between 1825 and 1983 when production shut down. Although supplies of its single malt whisky are still available, the dwindling stocks of Port Ellen whisky due to the closing of the distillery make this whisky a valuable collector's item.
A sophisticated, dry quintessential Port Ellen offering. "Clean and Precise" with "leathery almond notes" finishes with "saline and roasted fruits".
