Your eyes aren't lying, this is the darkest Scotch I've ever seen, and it's definitely in the running for best I've ever tried. Magical and otherworldly are descriptors that barely do it justice.
Tasting Notes: Captivates the senses with a harmonious fusion of dried fruits and dark chocolate. Succulent raisins, dates, and figs dance alongside rich prunes and blackcurrants, exuding an air of decadence. The influence of the first-fill Oloroso sherry casks is undeniable, as luscious notes of toffee, caramel, and molasses intertwine seamlessly with the fruitiness. Hints of toasted almonds and oak contribute an inviting warmth, adding complexity and depth. Finish is long and lingering with notes of leather, cigar and a stoney minerality. Overall this might be a perfect Scotch. And I'd argue a great value easily beating Scotches ten times more expensive, heck the branded Bunnahabhain 25 year old is more expensive and it's 5 years younger.
