Lot 23 is a blend created by head distiller Dave Smith, who selected 26 distinctive casks from their whiskey library. The barrels used include Kentucky bourbon barrels, apple brandy casks, French oak casks, and California Sauternes-style and Port casks. These barrels range from four and a half years old to twelve years old, with some blends dating back 19 years.
The whiskey has an ABV of 43% and is known for its complex flavor profile, featuring notes of butterscotch, fruitcake, orange oil, walnuts, and baklava.
