WOODINVILLE HEALTHY SPIRITS SINGLE BARREL BOURBON 750ML

COLOR – a medium sepia-orange amber  

NOSE – very classic Woodinville, with that nice soft weathered oak, doughy unbaked cinnamon roll, faint baked cherry, vanilla icing on a caramel chew cookie, a thin outline of bitter oak tannin, and the ethanol a wee punchy from the 114+ proof so approach slowly 

PALATE – weathered oak and gentle oak tannins on a rich stream of syrupy caramel, with a flare up of heat right at the end 

FINISH – very like the palate, with a dash of black pepper, and even more vanilla now coming through to balance the drier oak aspects 

OVERALL – I’m right there in that rustic log cabin enjoying breakfast
